Programme overview

Made to measure around your goals, dates and budget

How much you get out of studying abroad comes down to fit — the school, your reason for going, your budget, the life you lead while you are there and the future you are working towards. So rather than hand you a ready-made plan, we build your Cebu programme around you: your age, your dates, your English, your goals and your budget shape not only the study but the accommodation, meals, location and neighbourhood too. From young children to older learners, from parent-and-child stays to preparation for further study or a career change — not the same programme as everyone else, but the one that suits you.

02

Schools & learning

Five partner schools — pick the one that fits

We work with five language schools. Stargate, in central Cebu City, is Japanese-affiliated with Japanese staff on site; GLC is one of the island's largest, with a genuinely multinational intake; B'Cebu pairs systematic English courses with a strong set of special programmes; ELSA offers a calmer setting that suits parent-and-child and junior learners; and Lapu-Lapu Cebu International University lets you experience learning on a university campus. Our representative has visited every one of them in person, checking teaching quality, the living environment and the support on offer. Lessons combine one-to-one and group classes, and each school has its own distinctive courses — everyday conversation, exam preparation, business English or programmes designed for children.

03

Stay & setting

Living in Cebu City — dormitories, meals and medical cover

Where your school sits varies: Stargate and GLC are in central Cebu City, with cafés, supermarkets and Japanese restaurants close at hand, while others put you nearer Mactan Island's resort coast or in a calmer, greener setting. This is not a resort holiday with lessons attached; it is everyday life abroad, shaped around your studies. The Mactan resort area itself is reachable from the city by car. You stay in a school dormitory or partner accommodation, in anything from a shared room to a single, depending on whether cost or comfort matters more to you. Three buffet-style meals a day are the standard. On weekdays a doctor holds cashless consultations on campus, and at weekends online consultations and prescriptions are available.

Next step

Support alongside you, from free consultation to coming home

A free one-to-one consultation — around 50 to 60 minutes — covers your reasons for studying abroad, your dates, your budget and anything worrying you, and ends with a school recommendation, a study plan and a clear estimate. After that, leave it to us: enrolment paperwork, fee transfers, English-language documents, insurance and flight advice, the online registration you complete before departure and your pre-departure orientation. An administrative scrivener (gyoseishoshi), an in-house native English speaker and a certified career consultant are all on the team. Do get in touch, even if you are only gathering information for now.

From our students

  1. I had a wonderfully positive experience studying English here. The teachers helped me find the learning style that actually fit me, and the additional practice time outside lessons made a real difference. I came home with far more confidence than I expected, and have been recommending the programme to friends ever since.

  2. The teachers were warm and patient in every lesson — I felt comfortable speaking from day one. Even in just one week, I could feel my speaking grow smoother. Back at work, talking with colleagues in English now feels much less like effort and much more like me.

    Chen Mei Ling

  3. I have tried other schools before, but this programme was the one I enjoyed the most. The one-to-one format saved a lot of time — I could focus only on what mattered for me. The teachers were flexible and genuinely tried their best to help me improve. I would gladly introduce friends to study here.
