Nepal Added to Our Employment Placement Licence; Work Under Way to Add China

Nepal has been added to the scope of our Fee-Charging Employment Placement Business Licence, bringing the number of countries from which we can introduce candidates to five. We are also preparing to add China.

At JAPAN POLARIS Co., Ltd., we are continually working to improve our foreign-talent placement services. We are pleased to announce that Nepal has now been added to the scope of our Fee-Charging Employment Placement Business Licence (Licence No. 01-Yu-300848), widening the range of countries from which we can introduce candidates.

  • Nepal added: The licence certificate issued to us by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare on 15 September 2026 now lists 「ネパール連邦民主共和国」 (the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal) in its scope.
  • Countries from which we can introduce candidates: In addition to placements within Japan, we can introduce candidates from five countries: the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar and Nepal. The licence covers all occupations. Placements from overseas are limited to foreign nationals who are eligible to reside in Japan for the purpose of work under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.
  • Preparing to add China: China is not yet covered by the licence; we are working towards adding it, and will make a further announcement once it has formally been added.

People from Nepal are known for their cheerful nature and the importance they place on personal connections. We believe that many of them adapt readily to workplaces where colleagues support one another as a team. We support the whole process, from selecting candidates and preparing them before arrival in Japan to helping them settle in once they start work, so that employers and candidates alike can begin with confidence.

If your company is considering hiring foreign talent, our Paid Recruitment Services page explains how placement works and describes the characteristics of candidates from each country. For a consultation, please feel free to get in touch.
