The Immigration Services Agency (ISA) has confirmed that periodic reporting by accepting organisations and registered support organisations under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) programme shifts from quarterly to annual from April 2026.
- The April 2025 filing was the final quarterly submission: "四半期に１度の定期届出の提出は、2025年４月15日までに提出するもので最後です"
- New cycle: covers 1 April to 31 March, due by 31 May of the following year
- Filing is via the ISA Electronic Notification System (出入国在留管理庁電子届出システム)
- On 28 April 2026 ISA released three explainer videos: "Overview of Periodic Reporting", "User Registration and Application Walkthrough", and "How to Enter the Periodic Report"
Affected employers and registered support organisations should prepare for the first annual filing under the new cycle, due 31 May 2026.
